The GEOPAQ Bioinspired Frontiers 2025 conference in Hyderabad brought together innovators, researchers, and leaders shaping the future of space and sustainability — and Cosmic Girls was honored to be part of it. Representing our foundation, Angelique Kok joined this global community for a week of powerful conversations, new partnerships, and unforgettable connections. This reflection captures the hope, inspiration, and renewed purpose she carried home.
A cosmic reunion in India
"It felt like the universe had aligned in Hyderabad, where GEOPAQ Bioinspired Frontiers 2025 brought together some of the brightest minds in innovation, sustainability, and space exploration. As Development Manager for the Cosmic Girls Foundation, I had the privilege of joining this inspiring community - a gathering of visionaries shaping the next frontier of science and humanity.
The energy throughout the conference was electric - ideas flowed, collaborations were born, and the shared dream of a better future beyond Earth felt almost tangible. I’m deeply grateful to Murtuza Qurasani of GEOPAQ and Avgoustos Pantazidis of Lean SpaceTech for their incredible leadership and vision in creating such a meaningful platform. Through their dedication, this event became more than a conference - it became a true meeting of minds and hearts across borders.
Primarily through young voices like Iniya Pragati P., who shared her Devon Island mission experience, I felt a renewed sense of hope for what lies ahead. These young pioneers are living proof that the future of exploration is not only about reaching space, but about expanding what’s possible here on Earth, from inspiring exchanges with experts like Dr. Srimathy Kesan of Space Kidz India and Adriana Marais, to the thought-provoking insights shared by Antonio Stark and Daniela de Paulis, every moment reaffirmed the importance of investing in young talent and fostering cross-border collaboration. The presence of local government leaders - a clear sign of India’s growing commitment to space innovation -added even greater significance to the event and were warmly received and widely covered in the media.
Meeting our very own Cosmic Girls in person was the highlight of it all. Their joy and gratitude for everything the Cosmic Girls Foundation has done for them were deeply moving- their excitement, hope, and curiosity shining through every conversation. They all sent their warmest greetings to Dr. Mindy, and it was beautiful to hear Dr. Srimathy Kesan say that “Dr. Mindy is like a soul sister.” Moments like these remind us that our mission goes far beyond science - it’s about connection, empowerment, and shared purpose.
Leaving India, I carry with me not only new knowledge and global connections, but also a renewed belief in the power of purpose-driven collaboration. Our cosmic family is growing -and together, we’re reaching further than ever before.
