I am an amateur astronomer from South Africa. My life has followed many paths. Eventually I was able to pursue my interest in astronomy later in life. I did astronomy outreach for twenty years. In 2017 I joined Slooh and discovered the tremendous benefits of using online robotic telescopes. It felt as if space had really opened up for me.
