Dreaming about space has always felt magical to me, and it keeps evolving with each step on my journey. Growing up in a small town in India, I spent countless nights looking up at the stars, imagining what lies beyond. It felt magical, like the universe was calling out to me. I am the only person from my town of over 500,000 people who has this unique dream, which often makes me feel alone. I don’t find people like me around, and no one, not even my family, encourages or supports my dream. But as I grew older, I realized the challenges of turning this dream into reality—limited opportunities, lack of resources, and the constant question: ‘Is this possible for someone like me? My question is: How do you stay motivated when the path to achieving your dreams seems long and uncertain? Also, what advice would you give to young girls dreaming of making a mark in the space industry, especially from regions with limited resources or opportunities? how do you push forward without a support system, especially when even those closest to you don’t believe in your vision?
